Public Meeting – Falls County Hazard Mitigation Action Plan

FreeFalls County and all incorporated cities within the county are holding a public meeting as part of their efforts to update the Falls County Hazard Mitigation Action Plan. The purpose of the public meeting is to solicit information from the public to help identify natural and man-made hazards affecting residents of the region and recommend actions to reduce the impact of those hazards, provide comment on the draft Hazard Mitigation Action Plan, and contribute to the overall planning process.
The Falls County Hazard Mitigation Action Plan will identify natural hazards facing participating communities, assesses risks, and recommend actions to reduce the risk of loss of life and property from those hazards. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and participate.

At the public meeting, an opportunity will be provided for the public to offer recommendations on hazards of concern and ways to reduce risks.
